About Me
Hey friend 🖖🏻
I’m Dena. I like books, movies, and drinking tea while participating in those activities.
I got into copywriting as a way to support myself on the road to my filmmaker dreams, and as it turns out, I love it too. But then, I love anything that tells a good story. And y’know what? I’m super good at it.
But. Being neurodivergent and disabled makes it harder for me than it does for other people. And that is A-okay.
That doesn’t keep me down. And it shouldn’t you either.
Since I like to do more than copywriting though, I thought I’d give you the chance to get to know a little more about me.
I love words and the way we can build pictures with them. I also love big ideas and literally geek out when I get to help someone bring their vision to life. I love it even more when it’s for a person or a cause I believe in.
It’s why I majored in writing and minored in international mission work. The idea of using words to save the world has appealed to me for a very, very long time. But even more than that—it’s the connection that I love the most.
The way a film can connect with a person in the audience and help them dream a new dream.
How a book can help you see the world just a little bit differently.
Why an email sequence written just right can help bridge the gap between a business that wants to help them and their dollars.
That’s what I’m about, and it’s what I’m good at.
And, as it turns out, it helps to play to my strengths.
So, that’s why you’ll find me doing many things—embracing the slash.
